Small Acreage Workshop

On Saturday, June 2nd, over forty local land owners participated in a workshop focused on land management of a few acres (in contrast to large-scale ranching).  The event was funded in part by a $1200 grant from the UW Cooperative Extension office to cover advertising.  In the all day event participants rotated through presentations and hands-on demonstrations focusing on weed identification and control, xeriscaping in Laramie, pasture management, calibrating and using herbicide sprayers, building with fewer and recycled materials, and setting up electric fences.   This highly-successful workshop will be an annual affair
