Youth Education Programs

2007 Albany County Ag Expo

Approximately 350 third and fourth grade students attend the Ag Expo every year to learn about all the contributions agriculture makes to our every day lives.  LRCD sponsors a poster contest to help convey the importance of agriculture.  This year’s theme was “Agriculture, It’s What’s for Dinner.” Out of 236 poster entries LRCD and the Albany County Cow-Belles selected the following three Champion winners: Brett Montgomery, Grand, Savannah Lockard, Reserve, and William Wood, Superior.
